How do I get listed in the search engines?
When you choose Magro International, we will notify Google, MSN, and Yahoo! to begin crawling your website once it is completed. However, this is usually not enough to begin showing up in the results when people search for your business using keywords and phrases related to your business. In this case, there are two ways to get your website listed. The first way is to purchase online advertisements on the search engines, known as Pay-Per-Click (PPC). The second, is to engage in a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaign.
Do I need to hire a local website designer / Internet marketing Firm?
At Magro International, we work with clients across the country. We usually meet in person with our clients in the Detroit area because we like getting to know you, but this does not mean that we cannot work with a company that is located outside of Metro Detroit.
How long does it take for a website to be designed?
This depends on us and you. We work with you to determine an appropriate go-live date. Some small sites can launch in as little as 48 hours. Most medium sized sites with a custom design can be live in about 6 weeks. Larger websites with more complex designs will take longer, but we work with you to create mutually agreeable launch dates.
How much does a website usually Cost?
Magro International takes a different approach to pricing websites. While many other web designers charge by the hour, we charge on a project basis so there are no surprises. We meet with you to discuss the project and then prepare a custom proposal for you that takes into account your budget and business goals. The proposal will list the project's total cost. You leave a 50% down payment. The remainder of the payment is due upon project completion. The cost of the website will not change unless YOU decide to make major changes to the project scope. What do I need to give you for my website to be developed?
We need your feedback on the design, and content for your website. Most businesses use their other marketing materials as a guide when developing their website content, however, we also provide professional copywriting services if you would like to have your website content professionally written.
Do I need to buy a domain name and hosting?
Yes, you will need to buy a domain name, but we can also do it for you. Magro International will work with you to choose a domain name if you do not already have one registered for your company. We will host your website. If you would like to host your website somewhere else, you may do so. If you need to transfer your website from your current host to us, we will help you work out all the details for a seamless transition.
Do I get an email address with my website?
You will get an email address with your website that will end with @YourChoosenDomain.com. As a matter of fact you will get a minimum of 5 email addresses for your business, up to unlimited, depends on what hosting package you will choose.
Who will manage my website once it is developed?
You can choose if you want Magro International to manage your website for you or you can manage it yourself. Businesses that choose to manage their own websites will be given training and backend tools that allow for easy self-management.
Can I integrate special features into my website like e-commerce, flash, intranets, photo galleries, document management systems, or a database backend?
Yes. Our web design packages are upward compatible. If you start with a basic website, we can upgrade your website as your budget and business needs dictate. We offer all of the above services and more. We will have a strategy meeting to decide how your business can benefit from various website features.
